Lorsqu'il est évoqué par Fran Lengyll devant Roland à la réception d'accueil donnée par le maire de Hambry, son nom se transforme en John Croydon, mais le reste du temps je retrouve plus souvent la dénomination John Croyden. Je retrouve la même erreur dans le livre de Robin Furth, où Croyden et Croydon se réfèrent à la même personne. J'utiliserai donc le nom Croyden le reste du temps sur ce site.
