Son rayon a été détruit il y a de nombreuses années par les briseurs car lorsque le Ka-tet arrive au Devar-Toi, il ne reste plus que deux Rayons survivants : l'Ours-Tortue et le Loup-Éléphant.
Le Chien est représenté sur le berceau de Lud.
