Les Guanches sont les seuls indigènes qui vivaient dans les Îles Canaries
Ce sont les seuls Berbères à n'avoir pas été islamisés
Leur civilisation a disparu, mais a laissé des traces dans la culture canarienne et quelques vestiges
Leur langue, morte en raison de l'hispanisation, était le guanche.
