Ces Albanais ont gardé une forte identité, parlant toujours leur langue, l’arbërisht
Dans ce dialecte, albanais teinté d’italien, le village se nomme Qana
De même, le hameau San Giacomo di Cerzeto se nomme Shën Japku en arbërisht.
