TCP
Angl : Transmission control protocol.

Un protocole de communication de TCP/IP qui assure la bonne connexion de données sur le réseau Internet et qui correspond à la quatrième couche (couche transport) du modèle de référence OSI.

Le protocole TCP est orienté connexion.
Il doit donc fournir des communications fiables en mode connecté aux applications qui souvent nécessitent un accusé de réception (ACK) des données .
