L’ECIS (non il ne s’agit pas de l’école de Peutie ;-)), un organisme de pression qui regroupe des sociétés comme Nokia, IBM, Sun Microsystems, RealNetworks et Oracle, a déposé une nouvelle plainte pour concurrence déloyale contre Microsoft devant la Commission européenne.
Cette fois-ci encore ce comité dénonce la politique de Microsoft en matière de monopole qui au fil du temps ne fait que de se renforcer.
La Suite Office est donc visée par cette plainte.
Le motif de la plainte porte sur le fait que Microsoft Office empêche les logiciels concurrents d’interopérer avec le système d’exploitation Windows.
En matière de communication, les suites concurrentes à Office se targuent de communiquer à 100 % avec Office, à l’instar de StarOffice ou de WordPerfect.
