Eddie arrive des toilettes de La Tour Penchée en poussant Jack dans le monde de Roland. Alors que Jack s’apprête à tirer sur Roland, Eddie lui lance un gros caillou à la tête. Roland tire sur Jack et la balle fait exploser l’arme de ce dernier, l’explosion le défigurant. Les monstres de la plage mettent un terme aux souffrances de Jack et le dévorent.
Roland, incapable de tenir une arme de sa main droite, confie à contrecœur un de ses pistolets à Eddie. Ils franchissent à nouveau la porte .
