Emporium est aussi le nom donné au port fluvial de Rome pendant l'Antiquité. Pendant le Haut Moyen Âge, un emporium est un site commercial, fluvial ou maritime, d'Europe du Nord-Ouest. Emporium est le siège du comté de Cameron, situé dans le Commonwealth de Pennsylvanie, aux États-Unis. Emporium est une revue d'art italienne fondée en 1895 à Bergame et disparue en 1964.
