C'est le plus ancien studio de cinéma américain encore en activité avec Universal Pictures

Filiale du conglomérat Paramount Global, son siège social se situe sur Melrose Avenue à Hollywood, en Californie, au sein des Paramount Studios

Le plus grand succès du studio est le film Titanic de James Cameron qui a récolté un peu plus de 2,2 milliards de dollars au box-office mondial.
