Kaiwaka, dite « la petite ville des lumières » ou « canoë de nourriture », est une localité située dans la région du Northland dans l’Île du Nord de la Nouvelle-Zélande.
Histoire
En , durant la Guerre des mousquets, une bataille majeure entre les Ngā Puhi et les Ngāti Whātua eu lieu à Te Ika-a-ranga-nui près de la ville de Kaiwaka, entraînant plus de 170 décès,.
