Selouane (en langue berbère: Selwan ou Seřwan, en arabe: سلوان ou سروان) est une ville du Maroc

Elle est située au nord-est, dans la province de Nador, au Maroc oriental.

Monuments

  • Kasbah de Selouane. Au sud de la ville ancienne, sur la rive gauche de l'Oued Selouane. Fondée par Moulay Ismaïl, elle est pourvue de tours carrées ; quoique restaurée en 1859 par Sidi-Mohammed, ses ruines sont maintenant à l'abandon.

Éducation

Depuis 2005, la ville accueille la faculté pluridisciplinaire de Nador, dépendant de l'université Mohammed Ier, qui propose des formations en sciences, économie, droit, lettres et religion.
