- Meretrix lusoria
L’hamaguri, aussi connu sous le nom de palourde commune d'Orient, de nom scientifique Meretrix lusoria, est une espèce de palourde d'eau salée de la famille des Veneridae. C'est un mollusque marin bivalve dénommé hamaguri au Japon
Il entre dans la préparation de certains sushis et ses coquilles sont utilisées traditionnellement pour faire les pierres blanches du jeu de go.
