Soulja Boy, de son véritable nom DeAndre Cortez Way, né le 28 juillet 1990 à Chicago, dans l'Illinois, est un rappeur, producteur, entrepreneur et acteur américain

Il connait un grand succès grâce au tube Crank That (Soulja Boy) et à son album Souljaboytellem.com en 2007, certifié disque de platine par la Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)

Cependant, ses deux albums qui se succèdent, iSouljaBoyTellem (2008) et The DeAndre Way (2010) n'atteignent pas le succès commercial du premier album, ce dernier étant écoulé à 100 000 exemplaires.
