Gérardmer [ ʒeʁaʁme] , en vosgien de la montagne [ ʒiʁoːmwɛ] (Giraumouér) ou [ ʒʁoːmwɑː], est une commune française de moyenne montagne située dans le département des Vosges, dans la région historique et culturelle de Lorraine et la région administrative Grand Est. Elle est connue pour ses activités de montagne, son lac et notamment sa station de sports d'hiver (La Mauselaine) ainsi que pour son festival international du film fantastique. Elle doit son surnom de « Perle des Vosges » à Abel Hugo, frère de Victor. Ses habitants sont appelés les Gérômois .
