Sidi Maarouf est une commune de la wilaya de Jijel en Algérie, située à la limite de la wilaya de Mila, à environ une heure trente minutes de route de Constantine.

Le territoire de la commune de Sidi Maarouf se situe au sud-est de la wilaya de Jijel.

En 2008 la commune a recensé plus de 21 662 habitants[pas clair] ce qui en fait la quatrième commune la plus peuplée de la wilaya de Jijel.
