Tinizong est une localité et une ancienne commune suisse du canton des Grisons, située dans la région d'Albula.
Histoire
Mentionné dans l'itinéraire d'Antonin comme étape sur la route du col du Septimer, le village est protégé, au Moyen Âge, par trois tours de défense aujourd'hui disparues. Il tire ses revenus de l'agriculture et de l'extraction de minerai de manganèse dans le val d'Err.
En 1851, le village (ainsi que le quartier de Ruegnas situé dans le village voisin de Rona) est érigé en commune. Celle-ci fusionnera avec sa voisine le
