C'était une commune à part entière avant la fusion des communes de 1977. Code postal : 4680
Histoire
Le 6 août 1914, l'armée allemande exécute 11 civils et détruit 149 bâtiments, les unités en cause sont le 89ème,90ème Régiments d'Infanterie et les 7ème régiment et 9ème bataillons de chasseurs. Ces événements font partie des Atrocités allemandes en 1914.
