Brunehaut, dite aussi Brunehilde (en latin Brunichildis), née vers 547 en Espagne wisigothique et morte exécutée en 613 à Renève (actuelle Côte-d'Or), est une princesse wisigothe devenue reine des Francs. Elle règne sur au moins un royaume mérovingien (Austrasie ou Burgondie) pendant trente-trois ans
Elle est aussi célèbre pour sa rivalité meurtrière avec une autre reine franque, Frédégonde, à l'origine de nombreux assassinats intra-familiaux.
