Achtarak

Achtarak ou Aštarak (en arménien Աշտարակ, signifiant « tour ») est une ville industrielle en Arménie, située sur le canyon de Kasakh, à 20 km au nord-ouest d'Erevan. Elle est la capitale du marz d'Aragatsotn. Comprenant également la localité de Mughni, cette ville de plus de 20 000 habitants (21 588 en 2009) est au carrefour de grandes routes d'Arménie dnt la M1 et la M3, la reliant notamment Erevan à Gyumri ou Vanadzor.
