Package org.omg.CORBA_2_3

The CORBA_2_3 package defines additions to existing CORBA interfaces in the Java[tm] Standard Edition 6.   These changes occurred in recent revisions to the CORBA API defined by the OMG.  The new methods were added to  interfaces derived from the corresponding interfaces in the CORBA package.  This provides backward compatibility and avoids breaking the JCK tests.

The following methods in the abstract class org.omg.CORBA_2_3.ORB are unimplemented:

  • public org.omg.CORBA.portable.ValueFactory register_value_factory(String id, org.omg.CORBA.portable.ValueFactory factory)
  • public void unregister_value_factory(String id)
  • public org.omg.CORBA.portable.ValueFactory lookup_value_factory(String id)
  • public org.omg.CORBA.Object get_value_def(String repid)
  • public void set_delegate(java.lang.Object wrapper)
