        the text message for this warning/error or null if one wasn't set

        Throwable getLinkedException()
        Retrieve the linked exception for this warning/error.

        ValidationEventLocator getLocator()
        Retrieve the locator for this warning/error.

        the locator that indicates where the warning/error occurred
