HyperTransport
Le bus HyperTransport (HTT), anciennement Lightning Data Transport (LDT) est un bus local série/parallèle utilisé principalement dans la communication entre le chipset et le processeur.
  • L'HyperTransport offre une bande passante théorique de 12,8 Go/s. Les échanges se font jusqu'à 800 Mhz.

  • L'HyperTransport 2.0 offre une bande passante théorique de 22,4 Go/s. Les échanges se font jusqu’à 1,4 GHz.
HyperTransport est une technologie issue des laboratoires Digital, mais dont le développement fut reprit par AMD, IBM et nVidia qui avaient acquis une licence.
