Les principales distorsions sont les
  • distorsions d'amplitude.
  • delay distorsion group (déphasage car les fréquences élevées se propagent plus rapidement que les fréquences basses).
    interférences entre symboles (chevauchement entre les fréquences de 2 impulsions).
  • distorsions biaises (déformations lors des transitions entre les signaux 0 et 1, et inversément).
