Le Guérec travaille au centre de télécommunications spatiales de Pleumeur-Bodou, en Bretagne. Il réceptionnera Yoko, dans Message pour l'éternité, qui a posé son planeur dans les environs, ayant dépassé l'aérodrome qu'elle souhaitait rejoindre et volant trop bas pour pouvoir faire demi-tour. Il lui fera la faveur de lui donner un coup de main en l'amenant au centre de télécommunications pour qu'elle puisse téléphoner.
