Album n°2 dans la série Thorgal saga
Naviguant vers leurs terres depuis le pays Qâ, Thorgal, Aaricia et Jolan se retrouvent pris au beau milieu du conflit qui oppose le Peuple de l'Eau et celui de la Forêt. Leurs divinités respectives sont maintenant déchaînées, et rien ne pourra plus entraver le chaos de la guerre. Sauf, peut-être, une flèche taillée dans l'Arbre de Vie, tirée sur le redoutable Wendigo. Pour sauver Aaricia, enceinte et blessée, Thorgal n'a d'autre choix que de prendre parti et de se compromettre une nouvelle fois dans la folie des hommes.
