et arrive dans l’esprit de Jack Mort.
Il reconnaît immédiatement la future victime du Pousseur, le gamin du relais, Jake Chambers. Roland arrive à distraire un instant Jack Mort le temps que le feu passe au rouge, et ce Mort manque sa proie.
Problème de date
Lorsque Roland entre dans l’esprit de Jack Mort après avoir franchi la porte, on peut lire .../ trois ans auparavant, une jeune femme nommée Odetta Holmes avait eu les jambes sectionnées /...
.
Odetta a été poussée sous le train le , nous devrions normalement être en 1962, mais Jake ne naît qu’en 1966.

Je choisis donc de ne pas tenir compte de ce délais de trois ans entre la perte des jambes d’Odetta et l’entrée de Roland dans l’esprit de Jack Mort, et je fais le choix de situer ces évènements en 1977.
