Le groupe Gallimard est dirigé par Antoine Gallimard. Considérée comme l'une des plus importantes et influentes maisons d'édition en France, notamment pour la littérature du XXe siècle et contemporaine, Gallimard est le diffuseur, en 2011, d'un catalogue comprenant 38 prix Goncourt, 38 écrivains ayant reçu le prix Nobel de littérature, et 10 écrivains récompensés du prix Pulitzer. Gallimard fait partie du Groupe Madrigall, le troisième pôle éditorial français.
