Juan Antonio Ramírez est un dessinateur espagnol. Il a commencé à dessiner très jeune en lisant les bandes dessinées publiées en Espagne. Plus tard, en lisant Conan et d'autres héros de comics, il décide d'en faire un métier. Entre 1998 et 2004 il apprend l'art du dessin à l'école puis commence à travailler en Espagne. Plus tard il entrera dans le marché américain. Ramírez se dit influencé par Carlos Pacheco, Stuart Immonen, John Buscema, Adam Hughes, J. Scott Campbell, Oliver Coipiel, Rafa Sandoval et d'autres.
