Gin est né à Belgrade (Serbie) en 1978. Enfant, il lit beaucoup de bandes dessinées, dont Prince Vaillant qui le marque profondément. Après des études de graphisme, il réalise des story-boards pour la publicité, illustre de nombreux livres pour enfants et n’en oublie pas pour autant la bande dessinée. Dans un premier temps, il se lance en Serbie. Nouveau venu dans le label « Série B », L’Homme de l’année – 1815, un album centré sur la période napoléonienne scénarisé par Sébastien Latour (Lady Spitfire ; Spyder), est sa première publication en France.
