Mike Hawthorne est un américain auteur de bandes dessinées connu pour son travail sur des livres tels que Deadpool, G.I. JOE : Origins, Queen & ; Country, Conan : Road of Kings, et son propre livre appartenant à un créateur, Hysteria.
Carrière
Hawthorne est le créateur de la bande dessinée série Hysteria et a fourni les illustrations pour diverses autres bandes dessinées, y compris Deadpool, The Un-men, Fear Agent, Umbra, G.I. JOE : Origins, Whiskey Dickel, Three Days in Europe, un arc d'histoire de Queen & Country, et Conan : la route des rois.
Il écrit et dessine également un webcomic intitulé Raising Crazy à propos de ses expériences avec son fils.
Vie personnelle
Hawthorne est originaire de York, Pennsylvanie et est diplômée en 1993 de William Penn Senior High School. C'est là qu'il rencontre sa femme Despina, avec qui il a trois enfants. Hawthorne a obtenu une bourse pour un programme d'été de la Governor's School for the Arts et a obtenu son diplôme en 1998 de la Tyler School of Art de la Temple University.
