Chris is part of a scientific team using a computer to research why some personalities are so popular. Her hard work seems to be recognized when she is offered a promotion, but she is also told that the board expects her to be married. She states that she doesn't have anyone in mind, but her boss tells her to register her own name with the computer in an attempt to find her best match. Unable to refuse without casting doubt on her own research, the computer declares her best match is a popular singer that she has no interest in.
