Tuxedo est un bandit local sanguinaire, un vrai calculateur, beaucoup plus crédible que les caricaturaux Bronzen ou Satan. Il tente de racketter l'exploitation des Morel, sans quoi il menace de renvoyer manu militari la rare main d'œuvre qui n'a pas encore rejoint les chercheurs d'émeraude.

Lorsque Tuxedo tente de tuer les exploitants d'émeraude pour en prendre possession, mais Barney Jordan lui renvoie les bâtons de dynamite et il meurt dans l'explosion.
