Eddie Blake est un illustre patriote qui a su se faire remarquer lors de la guerre du Pacifique. Là-bas, il y a côtoyé John Fitzgerald Kennedy avec qui il a sympathisé. De retour au pays, celui que l'on a rapidement surnommé le Comédien est resté proche de son ami, mais aussi de ses frères. Lorsque JFK a été élu Président, Eddie était ravi, ses idéaux allaient être portés par ce dirigeant courageux et généreux. Pourtant, pour maintenir le climat de tranquillité autour du clan Kennedy, Jackie, l'épouse de John, sollicite Eddie pour une mission un peu particulière. Une jeune femme blonde avec qui son mari passerait trop de temps devient véritablement gênante. Eddie la force à ingérer des médicaments, trop pour qu'elle s'en sorte. Alors qu'il est envoyé pour une mission d'éradication du crime où il doit mettre la main sur une certain Molok, Eddie apprend qu'à Dallas, John a été assassiné...
