Mahdalynivka (en ukrainien : Магдалинівка) ou Magdalinovka (en russe : Магдалиновка) est une commune urbaine de l'oblast de Dnipropetrovsk, en Ukraine, et le centre administratif du raïon de Mahdalynivka

Sa population s'élève à 6 506 habitants en 2013.

Géographie

Mahdalynivka est arrosée par la rivière Chaplynka (en ukrainien : Чаплинка), un affluent du Dniepr. Elle est située à 52 Dnipro et à 359 Kiev.

Histoire

Mahdalynivka est fondée en 1778 par un militaire à la retraite. L'origine du nom du village, dérivé de Mahdalyna (en ukrainien : Магдалина, en français « Madeleine »), n'est pas établie de manière certaine. En 1886, Mahdalynivka comptait 604 habitants. Le village accéda au statut de commune urbaine en 1958.
